gearing up
I like getting ready to start school. I bought new highlighters, pens, binders, those cool clip thingies, a bunch of textbooks, recycled bamboo paper. Oh yes, I am ready.
The more difficult task is still ahead: getting through 2 days of teacher inservice. Staff meetings are the 9th level of hell. So and So will always ask a stupid question and those of us "cool kids" goofing off in the back will grumble. Admin will come by and tell us to hush. The newish principal is used to our heckling him so we will find another target. Last year I knitted while some played on their laptops. The year before, we passed around a piece of paper and made up a story along with pictures. This year I think I will work on bellydance stuff. Then maybe, heck I dont know. Spin yarn? Work on garb?
