my "new" Classroom
For the last 9 years of teaching I have moved 3 times. The first portable, I had mice since you could see the outside through cracks in the walls. The swamp cooler never cooled off the entire room and the ceiling tiles fell. Usually on a kid I liked. The last two moves have been into brand new portable classrooms. As of yesterday I received keys into one of the worse classrooms on campus. Oh yes, Someone hates me. Similar to my first room, 501 has ripped wallpaper, painted over graffiti and a red wall aka 1970's. Its located in the hub of campus ( ie. it will be nopisy and the center for fights). I am not allowed to paint due to a painter's contract with the DO... So we shall see what I will do.
